Cycling keeps you fit, while it’s easy on your knees.
It makes you happy. Seriously, count smiles on cyclists versus people in cars.
It wakes you up and gets your mind sharp and ready for logic and creativity.
It can also be a nice unwind and meditative moment in-between to do’s or at the end of your day. And, most importantly, you don’t pollute the air.
This month I challenge you to cycle everywhere. Almost everywhere. If you can get there within 40 minutes on your bike, do it. If you have to look professional upon arrival, allow 10 more minutes so you don’t get sweaty. From personal experience, I can promise, it will improve your mental stamina at work and school.
If you live in a place where bikes are not respected, wear a helmet and go anyway. The more people complain about bad cycling options, the more city planners will take it into account.
Have a smiley, sharp September everyone!
